The Church as the body of Christ

This teaching, another held in the highest of regards by the communion of saints, is another way to describe the Church. This way deals with Christ being the head and founder of the Church. Christ is seen as the head of the Church because he founded the Church, and through the Holy Spirit, he guides the Church.
