Pontius Pilate and the Biggest Decision in History

When Christians think of Pontius Pilate, they think of the man who decided to condemn Jesus to de with no mercy or thought at all. This in fact is not the case because Pontius was forced in a way by many Jewish leaders. When Jesus was brought to Pilate, he did not truly believe this man was guilty of any crimes, and tried many ways to persuade the Jewish officials to not kill him. The thing that has ultimately made Pilate a bad person in history is that he gave up. While this was utterly the wrong thing to do, you ask yourself what would you do?
